Vineyards Vine sorts

Traminer-rozoviy

Траминер розовый - старинный австрийский технический сорт винограда, широко культивируемый в странах Западной Traminer rose - is an age-old Austrian technical sort of vine, widely cultivated in countries of Western Europe. On morphological signs and biological properties it belongs to the eco-geographical group of Western European sorts of vine.

The flower of Traminer rose is telianthus. The bunch is  small or middle (length is 8-14 mm, width 7-10 mm),  cylinder-conic or conical form, quite often winged and  solid. The bunch’s stalk is herbaceous and short.  Length is about 4 cm.

The middle mass of bunch is 90 gram, varying on years  from 67 gram to 120 gram. The berry is middle size  (length is 14-16 mm, width is 12-14 mm), rounded or  poorly oval, light rose-colored with a dove-colored  covering. The skin is pretty thick and solid. Pulp is  melting and delicate, with harmonious taste and delicate high quality aroma. Juice is colorless. Middle mass of 100  berries is 120 gram. There are 1-3 seeds in a berry.

The leading characters of Traminer rose vine are: small  and rigid, crinkled leaves with the rounded  (dome-shaped) serrations and thick spider indumentum,  small, very compact bunches; light pink-colored poorly  oval berries. Young vines are branchy, with the almost  white apexes of spires. The leaves are small, almost  complete, with dome-shaped serrations; the lower side  has indumentum and covering. The autumn coloring of  leaves is yellow.

Traminer rose belongs to the vine sorts of high productivity, but quickly varying by years. This sort of vine differs by high sugar accumulative ability. It is one of the most valuable winy sorts of vine. A harvest is used mainly for preparation of high-quality table and sweet wines, wine materials of champagne type and juices.
