Odesskiy-cherniy

Odesskiy cherniy - is a winy sort of vine. The bark and young leaves of vine are green with vinous tint and spider indumentum. The axis of vine with vinous stripes. One-year ripening vine is brown with darker nodes. Flower is telianthus. The bunch of middle size (length is 13-16 cm, width 7-12 cm), conical and friable. 

The bunch’s stalk is thick, pretty long. Middle mass of  bunch is 140 gram, max. – 280 gram. The berry is of  middle size (the diameter is about 13-16 mm), rounded,  black, with a thick waxen covering. The middle mass of  100 berries is 140 gram. Peel is durable, pulp is juicy.  Juice is intensively colored in a ruby color. The taste of grape is like nightshade with a cherry-sloe tone. Each  berry contains 2-3 seeds.

Leading features of this vine are: nodulated, almost  complete leaves, early appearance of vinous spots on leaves; central blade with an obtuse angle; dark-blue  berries with thick covering and intensively colored juice.

The young plants are with semirunner sprouts and  vinous apexes. Leaves are almost complete, rounded, with  the raised overhead blades and dome-shaped serrations.  The autumn coloring is vinous. The productivity is high  and stable, about 120-130 centner/hectare. 

At favorable autumn terms and good ripening of vine,  this sort differs from other, by a higher winter resistance.  High-quality red dry and sweet wines are produced from  this sort of grape. Table wine is intensively colored in a ruby color. The bouquet is with nightshade tones. Taste is fresh, soft, light compounded. Sweet wine has a thick ruby coloring. Bouquet is with chocolate tones. Taste is harmonious, soft and complete. This grape is suitable also for preparation of semisweet wines, wine materials of champagne type and juices.
