The second hall of museum, as well as first, also amazes us
by quantity of unique exhibits. On stands you will find age-old clothes, items
of family life, tools, pre-revolution paper bank notes, and coins. The great
interest for visitors is a certificate of beginning of XX age, given out to one
of local peasants for participation on a stock-raising exhibition in Kakhovka,
textbook of history published in 1913, a pre-revolution passport, hunting
certification, and also pictures of armless artist person of natural gifts -
Gnat P. Shilo.
The special attention is deserved to a new exposition in second hall, devoted
to pioneers of viticulture in our region - to the Swiss colonists, about which
there were no information a few years ago. Archive researches, correspondence
and personal contacts with the descendants of colonists, allowed to collect
plenty of documents, pictures, material exhibits, telling about those remarkable
people, most experimental viticulturists, which, settling here in 1889, founded
our settlement and lay the foundation of the first vineyards.
In showcases, the guests of museum can see a bronze barrel
tap, belonging to one of colonists, instruments of the vine-making and
viticulture of those times, unique book of "Basis of the vine making", published
in 1876, rarest monograph by Ol'v'e Griva in French language - "Ttsar Swiss
vine-makers" with the autograph of author, domestic emblem of viticulturists -
Gekhler-Sheval'e and other things. It is necessary to mention, that this
exposition is named "Faces of the forgotten Osnova" and is the contribution of
respect to those, who were at the foundation of our agro industrial firm.
The exhibits of subsequent halls will tell us exactly about its glorious
history. You will find many pictures of those, who created a state farm in 1929,
who battled here in years of Civil war, protected this region against fascist
evil spirits, restored the economy in difficult post-war years.Gifts of foreign
delegations, deeds, cups, diplomas, and flag rewards are presented here. It is
quite recent history and again pictures and pictures ...
Here is, on a
diorama, our factory in all beauty. Its remarkable brandies and wines are well
known far outside Ukraine.
It is possible to see all samples of our products
and those, that produced in 50th, 60th, 70th and those, that produced in present
time. Many of them are marked high rewards on different exhibitions and tasting
competitions. Also you will see equipment of factory laboratory, responsible for
quality of products, and on tables candidate's dissertations, monographs,
magazines with the articles. This are scientific labors of our
employees.
On walls you will see portraits to those, who glorified our
enterprise: vine-makers Okhrimenko, Vdovichenko, Gus'kova, director Agiyan, main
technologist Yatsenko and chief of laboratory - Artamonova.It is necessary to
mark the viticulturist-vine-making type of museum.
It is impossible to
pay attention on enormous pump, which pumped wine materials before war, on oak
barrels for wines of various capacities, stays, aggregate for bottle corking.
All authentic things used a lot of years in work. Among exhibits - is a syringe
of Vermorel’, grape grater, special thing for planting of vine of colonists’
time.In general, it is hard to list all the exhibits of our museum. Any museum
of the vine making can envy us.So - come to our place, a museum is always glad
to its visitors.
