Companys' museum
Not every enterprise can proudly say of its own museum. But
JSC "Agro-industrial firm "Tavria" is in this position. Any, respecting itself
family, with traditions and glorious past, which in essence is our group,
proudly shows the corporate-family album to guests. This function, the
"corporate-family album" of "Tavria" is on responsibility of Museum, that will
celebrate its 34 anniversary on November, 2007. No doubt, all guests of our
glorious agro-industrial firm have not only a desire to closely be acquainted
with its history, but also on the whole with our territory.
In this case,
it is simple not to treat without seeing a museum. Enormous amount of authentic
material exhibits, including unique, models, pictures (only about 6.5 thousand
units of storage), presented in five halls, acquaint visitors with the amazing
corner of lower Left-bankness of river Dnepr, with its unique nature, marvelous
history, constituently tells about our viticulture and vine making.
The
main conception of museum is showing the history of our company through the
fates of people, standings at the sources of enterprise, those, who protected
the land in hard times, those, who glorifies land by the labour in our days.The
museum history of creation is indissolubly related to appearance and existence
of our "Tavria", arising up on the base of the nationalized vine-making
economies of swiss colonists, as vine state farm "Peremoga naymitiv" in
November, 1929.
In 1969, on celebration days of fortieth anniversary of
enterprise, then state farm-factory "Tavriya", the veterans and company leaders
had an idea to create its own state farm museum. In order to create this, not
only the apartment, but also materials, documents and exhibits were needed. The
veteran of state farm Irina Epifanovna Solokhina very helped in this not simple
business, unique archived documents, related to creation of "Peremoga naymitiv",
which she brought from Kharkov made the basis of hat time
display.
Enormous work on exhibits collections, flashbacks of veterans at
that time made the head of school of working young people in a settlement
Osnova, Raisa Pavlovna Smetana. It is possible to say that all the group of
"Tavria", headed of that time by the director - Semen Semenovich Ostapenko and
party organizer - Nikolai Nikitovich Pokhodun, took active part in the museum
creation. The basic difficulty was that, there were no specialists of
acquaintance with museum business, therefore for help appealed to the Odessa
regional museum.
